Dormitory Addition

DATE COMPLETED: 2022 (Proposal)

AREA: 7,800sf

This second story addition converts large barrack-style sleeping quarters into a series of quadruple occupancy dormitory rooms. The introduction of large windows, as well as interior and exterior social spaces facing the central quad bring a new feeling of openness and social connection to the campus.

In the evening, the dormitory becomes a series of glowing lanterns indicating the life and activity within.
