This bathroom is about growing with the home you love.

The configuration of the existing bathroom divided an already small space into thirds and cut natural light out of the shower and sink areas. A high step into the tub/shower and deep storage behind the mirror and under the sink created significant barriers to accessibility.

The renovation opened the entirety of the space to view and light, provided clear access into the shower, and included a continuous organizing shelf around the bathroom. This stone shelf is a surrogate for traditional grab bars, until a time when more obvious aids become necessary.

The flowers placed around the room are cuttings from the family garden. The vanity was built by the homeowner, an amateur woodworker excited to contribute a personal touch.
