Pleasant Street TDI

On Pleasant Street in Worcester, Massachusetts, outdated storefronts, roll-up gates, and security bars undercut the potential of an active and vibrant neighborhood. Alongside MassDevelopment’s TDI Fellow and the City of Worcester, OPRCH worked with tenants and property owners to revitalize numerous storefronts within the Pleasant Street District by providing professional design services to support grant funding through the American Rescue Plan Act.

Using design to demonstrate “what could be” should not be reserved for high budget projects. It should enable neighborhoods to envision spaces that foster community, generate business, and realize the vision of a better place.
