Worcester Dining Parklet

The Worcester Dining Parklet was produced for the Downtown Worcester Business Improvement District in partnership with the City of Worcester and local business owners. The Parklet provided a prototype model for post-pandemic conversion of on-street parking into opportunities for vibrant and engaging street life in the City.

Beyond the design of the Parklet itself, OPRCH worked with the client to analyze existing outdoor dining code across the region to establish a set of municipal guidelines for subsequent installations. The Parklet has since moved to various locations in downtown Worcester.
