What was once an asphalt driveway has become a center point of plant learning and experimentation for OPRCH. This garden is a loose assembly of areas for food production, rainwater management, shady underplanting, dry meadow, lawnscape, septic drain field, gravel courtyard, hedgerow, and salt-prone roadside planting.

Flexible arrangements allow for testing of growth habits, visual interest, pollinator attraction, compatibility, and timing. The garden is particularly focused on species native to the regional ecology.
