This apartment renovation only needed a light-handed approach. Historic details were preserved, while subtle introductions were made to increase light, storage, shelving, and interior connections. A new lower level bedroom with en-suite bath created more flexibility of the primary living level. Strategically placed natural wood elements carry warmth though the apartment and draw connection with potted plants placed throughout.
