Hemmed in between adjacent buildings, an 8-by-40 foot deck stretches along the rear of the house. This IPE platform is the setting for a series of intimate outdoor rooms for dining, cooking, and relaxation.

A narrow gap allows perennial plants to grow up around the perimeter, creating an effect of floating through a sea of greenery, while intense incorporation of potted containers create an ever-changeable composition of blooms and foliage.
